This was an unplanned stop on a day that I was out in the Jeep, just taking a drive and enjoying warmer temperatures, sunshine, and being able to be “topless” (the Jeep, that is!)  

This quaint winery definitely caters to those who like the sweeter wines. Still, they also offer a nice selection of dry wines. It was great for me because, as you can see, I brought three bottles of sweets back with me!  

The winery offers ample parking and a tasting room inside for smaller groups and outside (weather permitting) for larger groups. The inside area has several tables and a fireplace, with an inviting country charm. The outside area is large and grassy, with several picnic tables. There was a small gathering going on when I stopped, and they did have their food set up inside the winery.  

The bar is small, but in all fairness, it is enough for their space. Samples of their wines were $1.00 each. I sampled a red and a white – both delicious. They had a couple of options for their wine slushies, and it was a warm day, so I thought, “why not?” I am a huge salted caramel fan, which happened to be an option – this was the only part of my experience here that was disappointing. It definitely did not taste like salted caramel – at least to me.  

The team working that day was accommodating, cheerful and courteous! Definitely deserving of 5 stars for service. Even working through their computer system being down and unable to process credit cards. But, they did find a work-around, and all was good with customer transactions!  

Be sure to check out their website if you will be in the area; they offer live entertainment periodically on Friday and Saturday evenings, and if you want – bring a picnic! They have you covered on the wine!
