If you enjoy history, you definitely need to check out the Findlay Armed Forces Day Celebration. I attended the event for the first time in 2015. This is another one of the events that Ohio has to offer that can capture the attention of young and old alike. During the reenactments, you see a glimpse of what a warzone looked like many years ago.
Armed Forces day is a way for veterans and those currently serving to come together for a day filled with overall military comradery. The three-day event features live history displays, reenactment performances, demonstrations, live music, great food (I enjoyed the BBQ Pork with Mac and Cheese – Grilled Cheese sandwich), and over 150 vendors. If it interests you, you can even take a ride in a Huey 369!
The Findlay Show is one of the area’s largest military shows in the area and will be held this year from May 19th through May 22nd, 2022. Admission for adults is $10.00, and for children, 6-17 $5.00. Children 5 and under are free.
