Barry Dyngles is another winner for us in the Youngstown area and another one of Tyler's favorites. The restaurant offers a relaxed and cozy atmosphere, and the staff is very friendly, engaging, and helpful.
Once known as Armadillos BBQ, Barry Dyngles has served the Youngstown area since 2007. Owner Shawn Hannon has focused on becoming the city’s first choice for fantastic BBQ, and he has succeeded! Barry Dyngals has won over 250 culinary awards, including “Best Ribs & Sauce in America,” Grand Champion for Most Outstanding Ribs & BBQ sauce at the Pro Football Hall of Fame, the Columbus Ribs & Jazz Festival, and the Great West Virginia Rib Cook-Off.
Barry Dyngals has an impressive menu with everything from cooked to perfection delicious steak to chicken or mouthwatering BBQ. The portions are large, and the price is fair. Definitely a great adventure and one that we will make again!
